Upcyclers is committed to fostering a safe, ethical, and sustainable marketplace. While Upcyclers is an open marketplace, we have clear guidelines on what can be listed. [Link to what can be sold]

Some items cannot be listed due to legal risks, safety concerns, conflicts with our community values, or potential harm to members and the broader community. Items that violate Upcyclers' policies or the law are strictly prohibited.

This policy is part of our Terms of Use. By selling on Upcyclers, you agree to comply with these guidelines. If we determine that you, your content, or your activities violate our terms, we may restrict visibility, remove listings, suspend, or terminate accounts (including related accounts). In most cases, we will notify you unless there are repeated violations or legal reasons preventing us from doing so.

Upcyclers strictly prohibits listings that promote, glorify, or encourage harm, hate, violence, or illegal activity. Violations may result in immediate listing removal, account restrictions, or permanent suspension. Upcyclers also reserves the right to remove content or listings at its sole discretion if they violate this policy, our Terms of Service, or other marketplace guidelines.

If you list an unauthorized or restricted item, Upcyclers may remove the listing, and your account could face temporary or permanent restrictions. Any sales involving prohibited items may be canceled, and Upcyclers reserves the right to withhold payment for such transactions.

Prohibited Items List

Alcohol, Tobacco, and Drugs – The sale of alcoholic beverages, cigarettes, vaping products, recreational drugs, prescription medication, and drug-related paraphernalia is not permitted.

Animal & Human-Derived Materials – Upcyclers does not allow real fur, ivory, taxidermy, human remains, bodily fluids, or any materials sourced from animals or humans.

Hazardous, Recalled, and Dangerous Items – Items that pose a safety risk—including weapons, explosives, flammable substances, and recalled products—are strictly prohibited.

Hate Speech & Discriminatory Content – Any product that promotes, encourages, or glorifies discrimination, hate, or harm toward individuals or groups is not allowed.

Illegal, Stolen, or Restricted Goods – Items that are banned by law, promote illegal activities, or require special permits to sell cannot be listed.

Internationally Restricted Items – Products that violate global trade laws, import/export regulations, or economic sanctions are not allowed.

Explicit & Adult Content – Upcyclers prohibits the sale of pornographic, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate materials.

Violent & Harmful Content – Items that encourage, depict, or glorify violence, self-harm, or dangerous activities are strictly forbidden.
